Homework Tutor: Smart Notebook UI & Identity

Development log for Homework Tutor: establishing the approved Concept 3 Smart Notebook interface and notebook-and-pencil app icon while keeping guided tutoring in active development.

Homework Tutor (tracked in the portfolio alongside its early working title AI Tutor) has finalized its visual identity around Concept 3 — Smart Notebook (Розумний Зошит).

Visual identity & app icon

Notebook-and-pencil icon: Homework Tutor uses its own dedicated blue rounded-square icon featuring a friendly spiral notebook page and yellow pencil. It does not use the HomeLabCore studio flask icon.
Smart Notebook UI direction: Designed for students aged 9–16, the interface organizes study flows into a warm paper-toned home screen with clear entry points for photo and text tasks, subject cards, recent activity, and a spiral-bound navigation drawer.

Current development status

Homework Tutor remains in active development:

The Android prototype includes a working built-in sample tutoring flow (3x + 7 = 22) demonstrating step-by-step problem solving, Level 1 hints, and Explain Differently without immediately revealing the final answer.
Live AI tutoring responses, camera task capture, and multi-subject production workflows are still under development and are not yet released to production.
